Job brief

We are looking for a seasoned, creative designer to develop graphics  for ads, publications, press, social media posts, branding collateral, and websites. This position is part of the marketing team (the best team at RevRoad). As such, creating marketing pieces and fulfilling other graphic content will be the main job duties of this position. This designer position is an important part of a dynamic marketing and video department where everyday is a new adventure. 

Our ideal candidate is a team-spirited, skilled, organized, and creative designer with an eye for detail and branding. If you can grasp project requirements quickly and offer valuable insight, we’d like to meet you. The ideal candidate must have great communication skills. Experience working with graphic design, web, and video professionals is helpful. Your designs will inform and engage target audiences for RevRoad and our portfolio companies.

  • Produce design, collateral and other materials while maintaining brand aesthetic across multiple deliverables

  • Execute Photoshop tasks such as clipping path creation, masking, color correction, retouching and compositing images

  • Prepare Illustrator and InDesign files for print

  • Design web advertisements and banners

  • Generate graphic concepts for soft goods and accessories

  • Participate in departmental design reviews

  • Maintain graphic database and track status of projects

  • Execute market and trending research

  • Produce internal and external documentation templates and forms

  • Use various techniques to create drafts and mockups

  • Produce final design solutions (print, web, outdoor, digital marketing, social media, etc.)

  • Pitch creative ideas that enhance projects

  • Collaborate with social media and software development team members

  • Take on special design tasks to support multiple projects

  • Use feedback from leaders to improve work

  • Ability to work in a startup environment where flexibility and a growth mindset is imperative


  • 2 years of design experience

  • Experience with design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)

  • Understanding of visual elements (layout, type, and fonts)

  • Excellent communication skills

  • A keen eye for detail

  • Time management abilities

  • Creativity and problem-solving skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field preferred

  • Create core messaging documents for portfolio companies

  • Email drip campaign creation 

  • Blog posts, press release, survey, RFP, and white paper creation 

  • Collaborative spirit

  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
